Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Both tools use browser APIs (Canvas and PDF.js) to process files locally. Nothing is sent to a server.
Which PDFs can be converted to Word?
Text-based PDFs convert best — the text is extracted page by page into an editable .docx. Scanned/image-only PDFs have no selectable text to extract.
What image formats are supported?
Input: any format your browser can open (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP). Output: JPEG, PNG or WebP at a resolution and quality you choose.
